Setting the standard for Braille Translation
BETS now provides Braille examination papers for the
following awarding bodies:
• Assessment & Qualifications Alliance (AQA)
• EDEXCEL
• OCR
• Cambridge International Examinations (CIE)
• University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations
• Education Development International (EDI)
• International Baccalaureate (IB)
Additionally, BETS provides examination materials direct to
many universities, colleges and schools throughout the UK.
Our office is open from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm Monday to
Friday.

Provision Of Past Papers
BETS is able to provide a past papers service to schools
and colleges of all previously prepared papers.
Papers have been prepared in Braille only where there has
been a Braille reading candidate for that particular
examination. If a past paper is NOT available in Braille we
may be able to prepare this specifically for your use.
Please contact us for a scale of fees for such
transcription.
The on-line catalogue contains papers prepared in the
last 5 years. Generally, we find there is little demand for
papers which pre-date this as syllabi change over time, but
papers are available from the inception of BETS in 1991.
Please contact us if you require a paper which pre-dates the
on-line catalogue.
Please note that papers are only prepared for awarding
bodies on demand when there is a Braille using candidate for
that particular paper. If a paper is required which is not
included in the catalogue it will not have been prepared by
BETS. We would suggest that you contact the relevant
awarding body as to whether the paper has been prepared in
Braille by any other Brailling agency. Contacts for some
awarding bodies are provided through the link.
All papers are produced on single sided Braille paper,
comb bound. This makes the papers more accessible for
teachers and others who may be reading the Braille visually.
We have also prepared tactile diagrams with print labels
for some papers. At the moment these are not shown on our
catalogues or online ordering service. Should you require

BETS is able to provide a print transcription of
candidates' Braille examination answer scripts. Generally
